Terelj NP* - Terelj is one of the most famous and beautiful National Park. Locates in 60 km distance to the east of Ulaanbaatar. 2 hour journey /1 way. Tourists’attractions include historic places, mountains, rivers, many deposits of natural resources, wild animals, birds, trees & flowers. Turtle Rock** - is a surprising rock formation, naturally looks like a turtle rock. About 24 meters high. Tuul river*** - The Tuul River is a sacred river of Mongols. The meaning is “Queen”. It is 704 km long. Flows in Central and northern Mongolia. ChingisKhaan Statue**** - A40 m tall statue of Genghis Khan on horseback, on the bank of the Tuul River. The complex was designed and erected in 2008.

HORSEBACK RIDING 1 night & 2 days TRIP

(Available between 15 May till 20 September.)

Day 1.

09:00 AM Start trip by car.
11:00 AM Arrive at Terelj NP*. Visit Turtle Rock**, the landmark of the Terelj NP.
13:00 PM Drive back to the host family. Your host is a simple local family.
13:30 PM Lunch time.
14:30 PM Free time, walking and hiking around the mountain.
15:30 PM Horse riding. You will need some practice how to ride a horse and prepare for tomorrow’s horse trip.
16:30 PM. Finish the horse riding. Free time, walking and hiking around the mountain.
19:00 PM Dinner. You are free after dinner until you go to bed.
Overnight stay in a traditional felt ger.

Day 2.

09:00 AM Breakfast.
After breakfast travelers need to prepare for horse trip.
You need to pack all your staff. Because the company driver will pick you up when you finish the trip and drive to UB straight.
The horse man prefer you NOT to carry luggage on your horse, because possibly you are unexperienced to carry luggage.
Please try to leave your big luggage at our company or your hotel.
The horse man will carry your smaller sized luggage, except your day pack.
10:00 ~ 10:30 AM Start the horse riding trip. Barbeque for lunch at Tuul river*** side. Tourists will help themselves to makebarbeque on open fire.
After lunch, we move to ChingisKhaan Statue**** across the Tuul river.
17:00 ~ 17:30 PM The company driver will pick you up from the ChingisKhaan Statue.
Drive back to UB.
Depending on city traffic, you may spend more than 2 hours for your return.

HORSEBACK RIDING TRIP PRICE: $200 – 1 person, $150/each person – 2 people, $130/each person – 3 people, $110/each person – 4 people, $100/each person – between 5 – 10 people. This price covers 2 way transport, all meals, road tax, NP entrance fees, horse trip to Chingis Khaan statue, horse guide, translator and gears. Please be responsible for your own drinking water and snacks.
