ITINERARY HORSE RIDING TRAIL

Day1. Welcome to Meet Our Team / Erdene zuu Monastery, Kharkhorin museum/

We start to drive our trip to Kharkhorin, the ancient Capital of Great Mongolian Empire in 13thcentury,Kharkhorin was established in the valley of the Orkhon River in 1220. We visit Erdene Zuu Monastery was built in 1586 and is surrounded by beautiful white walls with 108 Stupas. Enjoy Kharkhorin. Overnight will stay at Gaya’s Guesthouse.

Day2. Orkhon Waterfall/Orkhon Valley National Park/

After breakfast we continue our trip drive to the Orkhon Waterfall. The waterfall was formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes about twenty thousand years ago. Surround by high mountain peaks with green forest.Overnight will stay at a nomadic family’s ger.

Day3. Start Horse Trek to Eight Lakes / Buureg/

In the morning you will meet your horse for the first time. You will be briefed by the guides about the horses, the rules, the riding and sightseeing opportunities in the area. A whole day we will ride our horses through the high mountains of Khangai Range. Around noon, we will make a short stop for a picnic near one of the rivers. Continue horse riding to Buureg. Overnight stay in a nomadic family to experience way of life of nomadic.

Day4. Keep Horse Trekking to Lake Khuis

After enjoying our peaceful morning breakfast at the camping spot. The Horse trails lead us to the Eight Lakes valley. This remote area was created by volcanic activities. It is locked between several extinct volcanoes and high mountains peaks. Legend says, valley shelters a large number of small lakes, all interconnected in the ground by rivers. The lakes are supplied with fresh water running from the mountains. The first lake will reach Khuis Lake. Overnight will stay at a nomadic herder family in Ger.

Day5. Reach to Lake Shireet

After spending our day sights at the lake, we keep riding further into the local protected area reaching to lakeShireet, it’s one of the largest of Eight Lakes. You will have enough time to explore around area of Eight Lakes. We will also spend our night an open-air in the tent. Overnight will spend an open-air in a tent nearby the lake Shireet.

Day6. Leaving from Lake Shireet

Spending your morning at the lake, we will ride backwards direction to the Waterfall from the Eight Lakes. After long way horse trek, finally we will reach the placeBuureg. Overnight will stay at a nomadic herder family in Ger.

Day7. Last Day Horseback Riding to Waterfall

Enjoy morning horseback ride reaching to Waterfall. Ended our long distance horse trek we will spend our relaxing day at the family and enjoy free time in the afternoon. Overnight will stay at a nomadic family in Ger.

Day8. Travel to Khogno Khan Mountain

Drive early to our next destination call Khogno Khan mountain area, a unique combination of Gobi sand dunes and beautiful mountains. We will have an opportunity to enjoy around and explore the area. Overnight will stay at a nomadic family.Today, we will have a full day trip driving to Semi Desert, a unique combination of Gobi sand dunes, and beautiful mountains. We will have an opportunity to ride camels in the steppe area. Overnight will stay at a nomadic family in Ger.

Day9. Drive back to Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar, on the way enjoy our lunch and end our journey.

ADVICE TOUR

Please do not hesitate to contact me immediately. I advise a lot. Please prepare suitable clothing to run by bicycle. There is a temperature difference between day and night, so please bring more clothing change. Because rainy day is also assumed, please bring clothes that are difficult to get wet. Flashlights and lights are of course necessities.
