Naadam Festival is Mongolian major holiday and a wonderful time to experience the culture and people of this amazing land. The festival has its roots in the nomad wedding assemblies and hunting extravaganzas of the Mongol Army. The opening ceremony features marches and music from soldiers, monks and athletes before the real fun begins! In the Naadam Stadium, the three sporting passions of Mongolians, horse racing, wrestling and archery, are played out over 2 days.But if you don’t want to watch sports all the time, there’s plenty to see and do outside – food, music, crafts or just watching people and culture. This is the best time to see the Mongolian people and soak up the party atmosphere!

NAADAM FESTIVAL TOUR SCHEDULE
Day 1 : Ulaanbaatar - Terelj National Park
Our guide and driver will meet you at Chinggis khan airport. We will have light snack, and will have Ulaanbaatar city tour. First day’s sights in UB /Ulaanbaatar/ will be Square of Chinggis khan, Gandantegchilen monastery-the largest and most significant monastery in Mongolia. After, we will drive to the Statue of Chinggis khan /named as Tsonjin boldog/ /55 km/, and “Mirage” tourist camp in the National park of “Gorkhi Terelj”/53km/. Lunch at the camp. After lunch, we will drive to see huge turtle shaped rock and a meditation center on the mountain. We will come back to the camp and will have dinner. Now it is time to rest and enjoy beautiful nature. As we stay in Mongolian national dwelling-Ger, you can feel like a nomadic Mongolian. Good night.
Day 2 : Ulaanbaatar - Terelj NP
After breakfast, we will drive to Ulaanbaatar. We will stay at 4 star hotel in Ulaanbaatar, so you can leave your luggage there. The official opening ceremony of Mongolia national “Naadam” festival will begin at 10 o’clock at the central stadium. After that, we will see Mongolian national wrestling & archery, and will drive to see Mongolian horse race. Lunch. Finally, we will come back to our staying hotel, and will have dinner. Have a good rest.
Day 3 : Ulaanbaatar - Kharkhorin
Breakfast at the hotel. We will drive to Mongolian ancient capital Kharkhorum /343 km/. Light snack & Lunch are on the way. We will stay at the ger camp in Kharrkhorum. Dinner.
Day 4 : Kharkhorin
After breakfast, we will see the Buddhist monastery- Erdenezuu that was established in 16th century, ruin of ancient capital Kharkhorum city and statue complex of Mongolian powerful empires. After we have lunch at the camp, we will ride Mongolian horse for 1 hour. Rest time. Dinner.
Day 5 : Kharkhorin - the waterfall
Breakfast. We will drive to beautiful waterfall, and stony canyon of fishy Orkhon river /27 km/. Lunch. We will come back to Kharkhorum, and will stay at the camp. In the evening, we will drive to visit Mongolian nomadic family and see their lifestyle.
Day 6 : Kharkhorin - Sand dune
Breakfast at the camp. We will drive to see sand dune in the middle of steppe. Lunch on the way. Dinner is at the camp near to Sand dune. Have a last evening in countryside of Mongolia. We will stay at the camp.
Day 7 : Sand dune - Ulaanbaatar
Breakfast at the camp. We will head to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia capital. We will stay at the 4 star hotel. Shopping and free time. You will arrange lunch yourself. We will meet at 06 pm at the hotel, and will watch interesting Mongolian cultural performance at the
Day 8 : Ulaanbaatar - Airport
Our guide and driver will drop you off at the Chinggis khan airport. Say goodbye to Mongolia! Our colleague is always happy to welcome you in Mongolia again!

Please do not hesitate to contact me immediately. I advise a lot. Please prepare suitable clothing to run by bicycle. There is a temperature difference between day and night, so please bring more clothing change. Because rainy day is also assumed, please bring clothes that are difficult to get wet. Flashlights and lights are of course necessities.
