Ulaanbaatar, formerly anglicised as, and still called, Ulan Bator /ˌuːlɑːn ˈbɑːtər/ (Mongolian: Улаанбаатар, [ʊɮɑːm.bɑːtʰɑ̆r], literally "Red Hero"), is the capital and largest city of Mongolia. 1. ZAISAN MONUMENT + ZAISAN HILL COMPLEX
Transfer from the hotel to Zaisan Hill. You can see the whole city of Ulaanbaatar from the top of the hill. On the hill you will see a memorial that proves the friendship between Mongolia and Russia during the Cold War. You can press here to see the

Go down the hill into Zaysan Heel Mall. Cross the glass bridge that connects the hill and the building.
Take a break with a cup of coffee in the morning at Zaysan Heel Mall.

2. BOGD KHAAN PALACE MUSEUM
The Bogd Khan Museum is well visible from Zaisan Hill. Bogd Khanate is a historic figure very familiar to the Mongolians. There is also a movie about Bogd Khaan. It's an interesting museum. You can take pictures in the jurisdiction, but there is a charge.

3. SUKHBAATAR SQUARE
Sukhbaatar Square is in front of the Parliament Building. In the middle of the south side of the Houses of Parliament is a large statue of Genghis Khan. There is a memorial statue of Sukhbaatar in the middle of the square. You can press here to see the

5. DISTRICT 3
The Third Residential District is a housing complex built in the first half of 1980. It is characterized by the style of the socialist era, which is close to the Soviet Union.
